Anti-fog and anti-frost design for tunnel lights

Tunnel lights are one of the important equipment in tunnels, and their anti-fog and anti-frost design is crucial to ensuring the driving safety of drivers. This article will introduce you to the relevant knowledge about the anti-fog and anti-frost design of tunnel lights, hoping to provide you with some reference.

Anti-fog design

The anti-fog design of the tunnel lights is to solve the impact of fog generated inside the tunnel on the driver’s vision. At present, common anti-fog designs include two aspects: lamp selection and lamp arrangement.

In terms of lamp selection, high-quality anti-fog lamps need to have the following characteristics: waterproof, corrosion-resistant, earthquake-resistant, dust-proof, long service life, etc. In addition, the brightness and color temperature of the lamps also need to be selected according to the specific conditions of the tunnel to provide clear and bright lighting effects.

In terms of lighting arrangement, equidistant distribution is generally adopted to ensure good lighting effects throughout the tunnel. In addition, appropriate angles and heights can also be considered to reduce the refraction and reflection of lights in fog and improve the driver’s line of sight.

Anti-frost design

The anti-frost design of tunnel lights is mainly to prevent icing inside the tunnel and ensure the driving safety of drivers. Common anti-frost designs include lamp heating and humidity control.

In terms of heating the lamp, a heating film can be installed on the outside of the lamp. The heating film can continuously increase the temperature of the lamp and keep it in a non-freezing state. This not only prevents the lamp from being frozen and affects its normal use, but also ensures the brightness and color temperature of the light.

In terms of humidity control, humidity levels can be monitored and controlled by setting up humidity sensors and automatic control systems inside the tunnel. Once the humidity exceeds the set value, the system will automatically activate heating equipment or ventilation equipment to prevent moisture from entering the interior of the lamp.
